The passage of the CARES Act by Congress includes provisions to restore OTC eligibility under tax-preferred HSA and FSA accounts. Plan details vary, so save your receipt and check with your benefits or health provider for eligibility.

  • Dulcolax® Liquid is stimulant-free and works naturally with the water in your body to provide gentle, fast-acting constipation relief in as little as 30 minutes (30 minutes to 6 hours). Stool Softeners are also stimulant-free, but they have a longer acting time (12 to 72 hours).

  • Dulcolax® Liquid starts to work faster than MiraLAX. Dulcolax® Liquid works in as little as 30 minutes (30 minutes to 6 hours) while MiraLAX starts to work in 1–3 days (based on product labeling).

  • Yes. When used as directed, Dulcolax® Liquid Laxative can be used by children ages 2+. The recommended dosage is 5 mL to 15 mL for children 2 to 6 years old, 15 mL to 30 mL for children 6 to 12 years old, and 30 mL to 60 mL for children 12 years of age and older. For children under 2 years, consult your doctor.

  • Yes, when used as directed, for up to 7 days. If you need to use for more than 7 days, please stop taking and discuss with your doctor.
