Q: Is DulcoLax® Liquid safe for kids?

DulcoLax® Liquid can be used for children age 2+. The recommended dosage is 5 mL to 15 mL per day for children 2 to 6 years old, 15 mL to 30 mL per day for children 6 years old to under 12 years old, and 30 mL to 60 mL per day for children 12 years and older. For children under 2, consult your doctor.

Stop use and ask a doctor if you need to use DulcoLax® Liquid for more than 1 week.

Q: Are there any contraindications?

DulcoLax® Liquid should not be taken: in the presence of a hypersensitivity to magnesium hydroxide or any of the ingredients contained in the productin the presence of abdominal pain, nausea, fever, vomiting, blocked intestine, inflamed bowel or severe dehydrationwithin 2 hours of other medications because the desired effect of the other medicine may be reducedwith any types of laxatives for more than one week.
