Sodium Picosulphate is the active ingredient in Dulcolax® Drops and Dulcolax® Pearls. It has a gentle yet effective laxative effect, stimulating the muscles of the colon and drawing water into the colon to provide relief from constipation.

Sodium Picosulphate passes through the stomach and small intestine unchanged. Only when it reaches the colon, it reacts with special enzymes there and changes into its active laxative form.

Dulcolax® Drops presents Sodium Picosulphate in liquid form. Dulcolax® Pearls are small gel capsules filled with Sodium Picosulphate liquid.
