The intestine is part of the digestive system. It breaks down food, extracting the nutrition that the body needs. Muscles
along the intestine contract in a wave-like motion, which pushes the contents of the intestine along its length.
The large intestine (also known as the colon, or bowels) is the final stage of the digestive system. In a constipated person, the normal movement of waste material is slowed or stopped. Dulcolax® laxatives help return the intestine to its natural rhythm by stimulating the natural wave-like motion of the muscles. What is normal intestinal movement? Daily? Several times a day? Or only a few times a week? Click on the following link to read the answer to these important questions. Learn more about Intestine and Dulcolax®. Further links Sodium Picosulphate |
