How Dulcolax® works
Being constipated means feeling uncomfortable, bloated and unable to relax. That's why it's so important to choose a laxative that works gentle and effective, without any additional unpleasant side effects.

Each Dulcolax® Tablet has a unique Comfort Coating that prevents it from being dissolved until it reaches the colon. There, the Comfort Coating dissolves, releasing Dulcolax®'s active ingredient right where it's needed.

Dulcolax® is also available as fast-acting Dulcolax® Suppositories, as Dulcolax® Drops in convenient liquid form, and easy-to-take Dulcolax® Pearls which can be swallowed without the need for water. All Dulcolax® products work only in the colon to provide gentle yet effective relief. And that's why Dulcolax® is one of the world's best-selling laxatives.
Returning to your body's natural rhythm
Dulcolax®'s safe, effective formula relieves constipation by helping the colon return to its natural rhythm. The active ingredient in Dulcolax® gently stimulates the movement of the colon muscles, supporting your body's natural digestion processes. Unlike other laxatives, Dulcolax® has no unpleasant side-effects on the stomach, small intestine or other organs of the body. Which means that you can enjoy peace of mind, knowing that Dulcolax® is not only reliable and effective - it's also gentle to your body.
Effective overnight
And because Dulcolax® Tablets are effective in 6-12 hours, they are very convenient to take. Many people simply take their tablets before going to bed, and enjoy relief from constipation the next morning. Please always read the information in the Dulcolax® package carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.
